Wild Dog (saturated out-of-phase sound)
Treble (center pickup)
Jazz (neck pickup)
Split Sound (unique bass/treble combination)
Offers an exceptional palette of sounds, from the round jazz pickup to the slice-fender attack…
Perfectly tuned by a professional luthier, 100% functional electronics. A few genuine signs of use and period markings, but still in excellent condition for a guitar over 60 years old. Its patina gives it vintage charm and character. NO ADDITIONAL COSTS NEEDED !
Original case included, for extra protection during transport.
A true collector’s gem: production discontinued in 1965 (taken over by Baldwin → logo changed on latest models). Baldwin versions are more common, so this one is a fine rare pre-1965 “Burns” opportunity.
Why this guitar is exceptional:
——————————-
Representing a high point in Burns London’s history, between the Short-Scale Jazz model and the stratoid revolution.
